Robert Rubinstein is Founder and CEO of TBLI. His motto is: "The World will benefit when economy supports well being."
TBLI GROUP™ is a knowledge broker, specializing in Triple Bottom Line Investment and ESG (Environmental and Social Governance). [TBLI GROUP]™ makes connections for companies and individuals from the old to the new economy, by expanding, updating and utilizing its extensive global network. The focus is finance. Robert has been active in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) for the past 20 years.
During this time he has worked mainly in publishing, creating 5 different magazines. His last publication, "Source", was a management magazine dealing exclusively with CSR. He has always tried to integrate the basic concept of leaving things in a better condition than when he started. This relates to social, environmental, financial and spiritual conditions. Robert has been influential in getting CSR into the mainstream of business strategy, by focusing on finance and personnel issues.
As a teacher at the Rotterdam School of Management, he taught a course on Sustainable Finance, to further raise awareness of future business leaders. He is also a leading international speaker on the subject of CSR and Sustainable Finance.
Robert has been able to make significant breakthrough with respect to consciousness raising, by linking the self interest of the financial sector to ESG Investing. He has served on various profit and non-profit boards, and advises various organizations; i.e. International Center for Corporate Accountability, WE-TV editorial advisory board, IMSA (International Sustainability Consultancy), Chairman Swift Prize of the King Boudewijn Foundation, 3IG-International Interfaith Investment Group, Fortis Investments SRI fund and the Developments Alternatives Advisory Council. He was also a commissioner for the State of the World Commission on Globalization, and a board member of the ASN Foundation.
Based in Amsterdam, TBLI GROUP™ raises awareness in the financial sector of the benefits of impact investment. It advises both companies and individuals who wish to institutionalize sustainability and acts as a global educator, providing a network for parties who share in this goal.
The subsidiary TBLI CONFERENCE™ draws attention to the benefits of TBLI by organizing two annual events in which the world’s thought leaders on sustainability network, exchange information and ideas on the latest developments in screening, auditing, reporting, ESG, SRI analysis, corporate citizenship, impact investing, indexes, and research.
The subsidiary TBLI CONSULTING™ offers result-oriented advisory and networking services, which, among other projects, assists in mobilizing capital and locating strategic partners for leading impact investment private equity funds, micro-finance bonds, and green mortgages.
